This park has mostly manufactured homes with RV sites scattered around. The roads are very narrow and the RV sites are difficult to maneuver with a large rig. We stayed here on the $1000.00 for three month deal in Oct. Nov. and Dec. This park is very convenient to everything. The beach can be reached via the shuttle which is just outside the park. The beach is about 4 miles away. The park has three nice pools and lots of activities. Close to shopping and great restaurants. We will be staying again next year, not so much for the park but for the location and price.

Nice big sites most being lakefront. The water is low in Lake Lanier so hard to get our kayak in the water. The drinking water was very brown even when using a filter so we resorted to only bottled water.

This is a typical KOA where you are charged extra for everything including the grandchildren and the cable TV. There are quite a number of permanent residents in this park. The roads are not in good shape and many of the sites are unlevel. We will stay here again only because there is not much other choice when visiting our family in Macon.

This is a very well maintained county park. We stayed for a month and a half and enjoyed every day. The park has a huge lake for boating, miles of bike paths and is a bird watcher paradise. The sites are nice size but no shade. The restrooms are very clean. The only drawback to this park is the area of town in which it is located. Many people stay the entire winter and have been coming for years. We will definitely return.

This is a beautifully maintained park. The sites are large and paved. We were in a site which backed up to the lake. The landscaping is very nice. Restrooms are at both pool areas and are modern and immaculate. The two pools are not very large but well maintained and screened. There is an excellent library. Very close to shopping and restaurants as well as about 8 miles from the beach. There is a bike trail right outside the front gate which is nice for walking and biking. While quite pricey, everything in this area of FL is high during the fall and winter months and after looking at other resorts in the area, we feel that this is the best. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful park. Very large spots. Clean restrooms. We stayed a week and then extended another day. The area is great with shopping and restaurants as well as a movie theatre within 2 miles of the park. We were in a lakefront space and enjoyed sitting at the water's edge. The hosts are very helpful. We will definitely stay again.

This is a very wooded campground and the next best thing to camping in the national park. There are no sewer hookups, but they do have a pump out service. The restrooms are scarce considering the number of spaces and quite far from many of the sites. The sites could be tricky for larger rigs. The location is great. We stayed a week and would stay again but did try to scope out which sites we could more easily get our 38 footer into.

This is a very large state park. The sites are long and have lots of room between most sites. Only a few of the pull thru sites were close to each other. The streets and sites are paved. The only negative is that there are very few bathrooms for the number of sites at the park and with no sewer hookups, used by most everyone, so there is sometimes a wait for a shower. There is lots of bike riding as well as lake activities. We would definitely stay here again.

This park is located on the river. The sites are very narrow and we did not have a picnic table. No room to sit outside so did not even unpack our chairs. We did not use the bathhouse but was clean but run down. Did use the laundry which is also run down but clean machines. The road into the park is gravel and muddy as it did rain while we were there. The park was quiet with few children even over the 4th of July holiday. We stayed here to utilize our Passport America discount. Might stay again if in the area and want to save a little money.

The staff here was very helpful. Escorted to the site. Diamond Lake is just across the street with the bike trail just across the street also. The reason this park was not rated higher is that we were in the W loop and that loop had no restroom. It was quite a walk to get to the closest shower and restroom. Also, our site did not have a 50 amp connection. The wi-fi here was good.

This is a beautiful, modern park adjacent to an 18 hole golf course. The sites at the RV park are well landscaped and very spacious. The restrooms are beautiful with up to date tile and very clean. The golf course is in excellent condition and a challenge. There is a restaurant and pro shop also. The only reason I gave this a 9 instead of a 10 is that the resort does not have a pool. This would be nice after a hard day on the golf course. The stay and play deal is great and we only wish we could stay a week instead of three days. There is a county park 3 miles away where one can enjoy river swimming and a picnic. Golf is the name of the game at this RV resort.

This is a beautiful park right on the river. The sites are level and well spaced. The grounds are beautiful with flowers everywhere. There is a soft serve ice cream machine which is on the honor system. Great touch. This park is close to lots of hiking and biking. The clubhouse is beautiful with lots of books for exchange, a big screen TV and tons of magazines. The pool is small but clean. The price for laundry is very reasonable. We would definitely visit this park again.

This is an older campground and somewhat run down. The sites are gravel with a fire pit and a picnic table. We were in a site which backed up to Bodega Bay. Very windy and could not sit outside or cook out due to high winds. There are many permanents and there is no security on who comes and goes. No monitoring of noise or barking dogs. We would not stay in this campground again.

While this park is expensive, it is really the only place we would stay in the Monterey area. The owners were very helpful getting us parked. The restroom were very clean. The site had a tiled pad and a fire pit. There is a clubhouse with a lending library. There is access to the beach via a path across the dunes. This is about a 1/3 mile hike in deep sand. State park access is just down the road. There is a bike path from this campground all the way to Monterey. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the way a county park should be run. Extremely clean. The new sites in the back do not have any shade but are pull thru and quite large. This is a wonderful park for fishing, biking and jogging. Close to Town Center and shopping. The pool is small but very clean. A vendor cooks hotdogs, hamburgers, etc on Friday, Saturday and Sunday by Lake #5. We stayed here for a month and would definitely stay again. Great place to bring the kids for a weekend!!
